Oh, how can I give something
when both of my hands are
fractured and empty?

Alfred,

This stanza left me feeling so sad....
You are a remarkable man, I will pray for you to find happiness once more, you deserve it :)

Hugs from your friend,

XXIngrid

Absolutely gorgeous! I loved the references to Greek mythology(you'll find I'm a mythology buff) and the imagery was absolutely superb. My only nit-picky item, is that "breath" should probably be "breathe"

Illum
What a sad piece. Brings tears to my eyes reading your words of sorrow.

We are divided by the shattered pieces of
our broken Love's Cup!
Feelings are left behind
as we go walk alone,
parted,
neutralized

So sad and haunting is the picture painted from your words. You have done an amazing job on this my dear friend.
Take Care
Love Cindy

There is always one more tear that can be squeezed from a poets heart. Nice write

As always...superbly written with heartwrenching verses and vivid images that tear at the heart and soul!

Love the mythology references and this insertion:

"Oh, in despair
I pray for rain"

and the best of all:

"From the delicately pressed
corners of reality
melts the future of nothingness.
It drips un-enviously
from paused gargoyles of past,
into words that I cannot take back!"

^a future of nothingness....how the heart bleeds when love lies dieing. Uttered words spoken in a heated moment that linger as the gargoyles that stand forever....just gorgeous in all aspects....take care, Debbie

So engaging, and admirable. The entire poem was full with sadness. Beautifully well written. 5/5

I love your writing style. The way you depict this consuming melancholy is remarkable. Beautiful.

I can feel that aching whisper in my own heart, thank you for the great read,,your poems are so precious in a world where such romance has almost vanished.
Take care.
Much love and respect.
