Short, but still it's very clear to the readers what you're talking about. I don't think I need to pick every line apart as it's a very personal poem and it's obvious that you're longing for love.
I think a lot of people can relate to this and I guess that that made this easy to read.
And you haven't used much of those "big words", you kept it simple. And I found that very suiting to this poem.
