I give it a five for the writing, i like to de-attach myself from the topic though. I don't really believe that love exists anymore. I think it is a good peice of literature. Very well done.
P.S. A reply to one of my poems would be appreciated if at all possible. oh, i didn't think people actually read "the read me" forums

I like the poem...it was well written and flowed very well BUT this "take a beating" stuff is a little whacky. I hope you didn't mean literally....and were talking more along the lines of hard times and not an actual BEATING. That's NOT love sweetie...lol I would suggest you change your to you're where necessary and capitalize where necessary......NICE WRITE!! :)

Very nice poem. but i have to agree with Natalie84. hope the "beating" part isn't true. no one deserves to be beaten. but other than that its a great poem. keep on writing.
