I'm so sorry but I can't appreciate this poem although I can see the last line is descriptive I usually like short, meaningful poems which say a lot in a few words but in my opinion the only poetic line is the last one which makes it more of a quote than a poem.

Dear Lyn,
If I could hold love in my hand
To help you see and understand
Meaning; sometimes people starving
for love have it right in front of them
and wont or dont see it.
The love I have shaped in a mold
Is again about to unfold
Meaning; the perfect person your
inspiration of true love once again
comes into your life melts your heart
For you my queen it is like gold
True love is new love never old

turns to gold as with true love
