Same Story.

She's living the same story, which hides in her past
Same beginning, middle, and end with different people taking part.
She's lived through sad endings, and she's determined to make a change,
And to regain her positive look at life, she prays this boy won't walk away

But she already knows how it ends,
She's lived this tale once before.
She knows that one-day it's all perfect
And the next his back's walking out the door

She repeats to herself, the same thing everyday,
"It won't be like the last times, this time he's gonna stay"
But tomorrow comes around, and history repeats,
And she's crying to the sound of her broken heartbeats

She's piling up reasons, why it won't work,
And praying for strength to survive all the hurt
She's trying to stay positive, she's trying to be strong,
But when she comes close, she gets proven wrong.

She just wants to love him, without all the mess,
The boy that can handle her worst and her best
There's only one reason I know how she wants life to be,
It's a fairly simple reason, this negative girl is me.
