Sincerely

by Statexofxclarity

The lights are dim and the sky is black
Faded paper with penciled words
Lonely girl lost on another track
Crossing between two different worlds
Air was kept in complete silence
Breaths were taken too carefully
Her memories play with violence
Voices that spoke in utter honesty
Questions that emerge from her mind
Haunts her for an undiscovered answer
Wonders of her heart left behind
Depression an unpredictable cancer
Her inspiration buried in a grave
The sparkle in her eyes blown away
Into the flames and too late to save
Life, not black and white, but gray
Uncomfortable atmosphere laid
Crooked smile across her face
Hands shake from being afraid
The girl that has fallen from grace
Amber colors her pretty poetry
Beautiful enough to paint a picture
Sad enough to call upon misery
Like a photograph impossible to capture
Amazing creativity out of her head
The impression of a true prodigy
Under the influence of everything you said
She never could accomplish reality
Broken mirror shows her new reflection
Ripped apart and she’s not in control
Still you were her only addiction
Suffering from withdrawal in her soul
The girl can still hear your beat
She still hums your dedicated song
She holds the music in pure defeat
She will not except the fact she does not belong

Sincerely yours, I love you
