Your Smile/Your Frown

by IdTakeABulletForYou

Silent words in an open room,
Wishing you'd be coming to save me.
Hopes held under water to drown;
Can't hold on too tight;
Shouldn't hold on so tight.

Dream of you tonight... I'll promise.
Something in the way you smile,
Something in the way you exist;
Irresistible, you've been.
A bazillion years since we last spoke
And yet you're still on my mind.

In a touch, romance is bliss,
But I still can't hold on.
Don't wanna hold on.
Do you realize you aren't a window,
But you're a wall?
I want to walk into you so bad;
Will it hurt?

It's something in the way you smile
That makes anything seem right.
Staying up all night,
Laying on the dampened ground,
Staring up at the stars and counting.
All I need is your presence
And such moments are instantly perfect.

It's something in the way you look at me,
Leading me to wonder if you love me too.
I can't bear to exist without you
--it hurts not to be with you.

Such a large room.
If I scream, will you hear me?
Bouncing on the walls,
Shall nothing be heard?
A subtle warmth in every word spoken,
Your voice melts me.
Still can...
Still
Does.

It's something in the way you walk
That makes me want to follow.
It's something in the way you smile
That makes me want to smile too.

Your smile... it
Brightens
My
Day.
Still, it's funny that even your
Frown
Does
That
Too.
