I loved all the trips to the beach,
the smiles and kisses,
our hopes and our reminisces.

I loved the walks downtown,
the bridges and the stores,
camping and standing on the shores.

I loved seeing you everyday,
snaps of cameras and random trips,
holding hands and our swaying hips.

But most of all, I loved holding you in my arms,
stealing away your pain and healing your heart,
keeping you safe and promising we'd never part.
