We always told each other I Love You
I meant it everytime I said it, but did you?
We always said Forever and ever
But apparently forever was too long

For now we are apart
even though at one time you had my heart
I reached in and took it back
because I needed it for someone new

Someone who makes me happy when I am sad
Someone who can pick up the pieces
and put them back together again
Someone who can wait for forever

Because to him forever isn't too long...
