Daydreaming (english sonnet)

by Nobody truly knows me

My mind wanders, daydreams passing the time.
I come upon a single memory.
A smile forms onto my lips, divine.
I'm falling away from reality.

I remember every second with you,
How you looked so deeply into my eyes.
And with your loving gaze warming me through,
You cured the things about me I despise.

I love when you kiss me and hold me close.
I feel so safe when I am in your arms.
You banish the things that I fear the most,
And you protect me from all kinds of harm.

I'll never regret the time spent with you
I think I love you, but I wish I knew.
