These troubled times are hard
But I'll always be on your side,
You can always let down your guard
Because I'll never be the one to chide

I may whine and nag
I may fight and fuss
But it's all because I love you
You big silly wuss... (jk)

You can come to me and talk
I will hold you when you're sad,
But no matter what, we have each other
and that can never be bad

So these troubled times will pass
We'll work them out as we always do,
I can't say much more than that
