I'd kill to be your lover...
I would kill to be your friend;
...I'd kill to be right by your side until the very end.

I'd kill to hold your hand at night,
I'd kill to kiss your cheek;
I'd kill to look into your eyes and tell you everything.

I'd kill to be the one you love,
I'd kill for just the word;
I think I'd even kill to know you 'til the day I left this world.

I'd kill for your acceptance
and I'd kill to make you smile.
...Hell, I'd blow the universe to bits
if you'd laugh for a little while.

I would kill the oceans and I'd even kill the sky
...it's what I'd do to make you happy,
and I don't even know why.

But all these things I'd kill, I know they wouldn't ever change a thing
'cause it's much better having someone 'cause they love you for living...

Sorry for the horrible poem. I just felt an urge to post a poem, and this is the product of that urge!
It's more a light-hearted perspective on love.
I hope you enjoyed it, despite it's absurdity and imperfections.
