Distance

Everyday goes by right now
without hesitation, without regard
but in each day i seem to think
of the times we never had
the embrace of each others arms
the smiles, the tears, the hello's and goodbye's
we've never had a chance to kiss
be it a first if we have had
yet with all the talks we had on the phone
the times i speak of seem like nothing at all
but days got worse
and our love seemed lost
not long after it crept back in
for i missed you so much
it was more than i could handle
if only this ocean didn't come between us
but despite the distance
I'm somewhat thankful
because of it all
i would've never known
just how much I've been
and how much i am in love with you
so if it wasn't for the distance
i wouldn't be this happy as when i found you..
