Happily Ever After

Once upon a time

there lived a girl

Who got engaged

He was her world

It lasted awhile

but like every other guy

three words "i love you"

were only a lie

it's been two years

and he's to be wed

and she can only think

of the words that he said

one broken heart

that means nothing anymore

she sits here wishing

she could love like before

but her innocence was lost

but she can still feel the pain

sometimes she wonders

if he even remembers her name

But the 'Once Upon A Time"

that was so full of laughter

has ruined her

there are no happily ever after's
