A year ago today you first touched me,i held my breath and closed my eyes but you were all i could see,
i fell in love with you, i became you prey, you made me weak, then broke me that fateful day,
i saw you with her, your eyes told me it was true,
in that one little instance i had lost you.
i cried for 6 hours that night, fell asleep in tears,
thinking of all the missed times, and of that great year.
i love you more than i ever did i want to make a new start, i wish you would come back, and mend my broken heart.
today i closed my feelings for you and my heart truly broke, when i still think of you all i do is choke, i love you is all that i can say, i love, why didn't you stay?
