I miss you (Part 2)

As i open my eyes today i know
you are not yet here, oh how i miss you so
i have shed a tear as i pray that
you won't forget how i love you a lot

i am so blue now, just staring at your photo
and on it's back i am writing neither a mantra nor a motto
rather i am holding a pen to write how i feel
how could i have one moment with you?..if there's only a time i could steal

my day will be as lonely as yesterday's
living without you is a battle that i still have to face
i am losing my sanity but holds on to my faith
that soon you'll be here, not just an image i would create

often do i reminisce moments of laughter and fun
but these are ovarlapped by the longing i am feeling in the long run
my burning desire to have you here with me now
would stay a dream that i'll have to wait to unfold for somehow

now i have learned how to put my cellphone aside
because there's nothing for me to expect, nothing to see or hide
oh how i miss your name appearing on it's screen
the sweet words that in my ears were never so mean

i couldn't eat well because my mind is stuffed with thoughts of you
wondering how are you doing, what do you do?
are you also feeling the pain that i bear
catching a glimpse at my photo and hugging it tight to show you care?

are you also crying yourself to sleep
and holding on to the love we have promised to keep?
do you also have me in your mind so often
while hugging your pillow and hiding under your linen?

oh it's a bittersweet moment missing you my baby
it is a game, a maze, driving me so crazy
i love you so much, this i know for sure
and i am dying to see your alluring beauty so pure

now is another lonely day i have to live
i know soon you'll be back, i do believe
i miss you so much and it really aches so bad
but what can we do, what can i do to forget about getting sad?

just always remember how much i am willing to wait for your sweet return
this is just another trial from which we have to learn
my tears, our tears, will soon run dry through time
when you are here with me again, a moment so sublime

i'll continue praying that soon i could hug you really tight
that you'll never be out of my sight
that forever we will be under each other's love
and together we cherish this gift we both have..
