Summer Love

by Crimson Regret

Let's run away, let's leave responsibility behind
I don't care how I just want to be together
Give me a lifetime of love by the end of summer
If only these moments could last forever
Wrapped up in your arms, air brushes over us
If only our love could escape time
Summer's coming to an end, I don't want to leave
Without you I'm not sure if I'll be fine
You mouth starts moving and your voice is low
I swear I can feel my heart start breaking
You're trying to say goodbye to me, I can't hear it
My freezing cold fingertips are shaking
You're holding me like you'll never see me again
Still promising you're love you'll send
And I should have known better then to fall for you
Because summer love always has to end
If only summer love didn't have to end
