Withered Crimson Roses

by Kimberley

You brought me withered crimson roses
Wrapped up in your broken promises
You claimed love of your unfulfilled lust
Disguised it with bitter, twisted kisses

You lied, but I listened, my mistake
You are candy coated misery
There isn't beauty in this breakdown
Now that your love has mutilated me

I had a good life ahead of me
But your twisted love closed all the doors
Withered crimson roses on my grave
And no one left to put flowers on yours
