We ended peacefully,
And I'm glad it went that way,
I only want what's best for you,
Since you're going away,

Stay safe out there my love,
And don't forget about me,
Because I'll be thinking of you,
And how we were meant to be,

So when you're fighting for you life,
To make mine better,
I'll be sitting here writing to you,
And mailing you letters,

And if there's a moment in time,
When you're feeling down,
Put your mind on me,
And take away that frown,

We'll get through this together,
Even if we are apart,
Because nothing can split us,
And steal our hearts.
