Never again.

My hope has faded into the black abyss,
I will never love again.
The last thing I remembered was his fist...
Why did this happen?!
My boyfriend said he loved me,
but these bruises say otherwise.
Why didn't I see...
all that he whispered in my ears were lies!
I thought he was my one, true guy,
I thought we would always be.
But now as I look up to the sky,
I see that neither he or anyone else loves me.
So even though I left him,
even though he hurt me, I love him as though he were sin...
But never again shall I let us be...
