My Angel

An angel walked into my life
Unbeknownst to me
He's here to help me learn
To have faith, trust, and believe

It's only been a short while
Since I have seen this angels face
Melodious whispers encircle my heart
As my mind begins to race

My heart was cracked in two
By an undeserving guy
This angel swooped down
Silencing my sullen cries

He rescued my heart
Treating it like fragile glass
Never knowing the capability
Of falling so hard, so fast

For the first time in my life
I am unafraid of the unknown
Able to feel happiness once again
With the feelings he has shown
