Passed bye

As my hopes of love and peace
slide slowly through my hands
my heart is opened up
as the pain slides in

I wanted to make you happy
one touch at a time
the talks we had were wonderful
but now there is only time

as time enters in
to my life, with out you friend
the days are to long
and the nights never end

as I cry out with anger
I feel my soul cringe
at the thought of you with her
and me alone again

you would think I could accept this
but the truth I will not see
for time has passed us bye
your feelings are not for me

I can feel the tears coming
I try to hold them back
the cup of truth is over flowing
and the pain is way to real

I hope for you all happiness
and I am sure you will succeed
because, you have taken mine
I have given it up to you, you see

I want to be your lover and friend
but this is not, your plans
your life is full of options
so here, I'm left to stand
