History

by IdTakeABulletForYou

Tearing through my heart,
Ripping me apart...
Leaving me gasping for air
I breathe in-- nothing's even there.

Blinking twice--no three--four times;
I don't even believe my eyes!
You've taken air right from my lungs
And left me here with nothing else.

Upon first sight my first thought is,
"I'll never have a someone like this."
But still, my eyes are stuck on you
As if they were attached by glue.

I try so hard to pull away
But suddenly I meet your gaze;
My heart beats fast, you walk towards me
(And so, the rest is history...)
