Take me back so I can be alone,
I just can't stand the pain,
The pain of love, the pain of thought,
I need some space to breathe.

The thought of you not being by my side,
And the absence of your smile,
Drives me to tears knowing,
That you're somewhere else right now.

Why did you have to leave?
Was there nothing here to stay for,
No sweet memories,
No playful dreams?

Take me back to that place where I used to go,
