I erase your name,
And those thousands of little hearts,
From my notebook.
But it's so many pages,
So many memories to keep erasing.
Your face keeps appearing,
And your name aches in my heart.
Every slow beat in a slow song,
Beats back ever second that I felt safe.
Every honk of a car,
Makes me remember back when,
You just didn't want to say good-bye.
I envy every couple I see,
Because they're feeling what,
I always wanted the most.
And I hate her the most,
Because she's hugging away,
The days of what I enjoyed the most.
They say to forget you,
But how can I,
When what made me most happy,
Is who I sacrificed almost everything too,
And how can I when,
You're still all I think about,
And all I'm living for.
Just watching you,
Rocking on the edge of my life,
With nothing left to pull you back.
What I've done was nothing,
But let you walk away.
