My Unborn Child

by Lisa

I know your only small
The size of a rosy red plum
But i hope you can feel my love
When I'm softly rubbing my tum.

I may be feeling tired
And sickly in the morn
But trust me all this suffering
Will be worth it when your born.

I cant wait to see you
These months are flying by
To feel you roll in my tummy
Will bring tears to my eye

Boy or girl?-i don't care
They say that you can tell
But i just want you healthy
To know that you are well

Seven months to go now
Until the day we meet
I cant wait to hold your hands
And caress your tiny feet

What a special moment
As you lay there on my chest
When you look in to my eyes
IL know that Ive been blessed

You have a brother waiting
Hes excited as can be
Having you in our lives
Will complete our family.

But for now you just stay cosy
In your big balloon
Sit tight and keep smiling
For i will see you soon .
