A WhispEr oF tHe WINd

by Moon Princess

A whisper of wind I long to breathe,
just to catch it within my arms.
Feel it slither down my throat,
and go into my lungs.

Breathing in I feel its iciness,
just to cure my overheating heart.
Like alcohol to soothe my fears,
or a young girls cut.

The words won't come out,
they get stuck and I can't move my tongue.
All the words stuck in between,
as I hear the whisper of the wind sung.
From someone who can sing the words,
I so long to say.

Gentle breezes rushing on my skin,
causing my frozen goose bumps.
Sliding my fingers across my numb outside,
as my heart no longer pumps.

Letting myself feel the nothing of my soul,
I am but a element of all the moving wind.
Forever free but somehow feeling trapped,
hope slithers through my fingers like sand.

The words won't come out,
they get stuck and I can't move my tongue.
All the words stuck in between,
as I hear the whisper of the wing sung.
From someone who can sing the words,
I so long to say.

Fading into the background, just a figment of your imagination.
All the words I long to say, I never speak.
For I am just as invisible as the wind, never seen but always felt.

The words won't come out,
they get stuck and I can't move my tongue.
All the words stuck in between,
as I hear the whisper of the wing sung.
From someone who can sing the words,
I so long to say.

I so long to say [long to say]
words that are spoken like a
[whisper of wind].
