Letter to Sir Gregory
Have all but love; have none but love,
Drink to silence or drink to me.
I am your virtues; your weakened dreams,
Once upon the Greenland Seas.
Listen to me now dear lord--dear sir,
What gifts borne from my mother land
Do you so desire as to take a bride--me
As your guilty mortal brand?
In name only shall we say two words--
But let there be no bitterness,
You have your continueous green sums
And I, your home's new mistress.
One day you're see, you're not so gallant--
If one unbearing touch seize fright,
The moment you know I have spoken of love--
Once upon a midsummer night
