Resting serenely among emerald green grass,
Shimmering light reflected through sparkling eyes,
Rosebud shaped lips steal the ruby red color,
Glitter glides over cheeks; she hates goodbyes.

He tenderly kisses each petal in turn; she blossoms.
Souls paralyzed by infatuation; lovers intertwined.
Drops of love shatter; vulnerable once left alone.
Whispered reassurances, "I'll never leave you behind."
