Tonight

I'm missing you, while you're away.
The nights are dark, and cold.
I'm thankful you are in my life,
If this is what feels cold.

You are not there when I roll over.
I cannot feel you.
your skin, laid bare, within my arms.
I'd miss you when I'm old

If I could not feel, every day,
And every night, your touch.
My darling, I'm so sad when you're
Not here. I love you so much.

Sweet angel, I'll miss you tonight.
These words, or so it seems,
Cannot describe how I miss you.
You will be in my dreams.

I love you with all of my heart.
Please hurry home to me?
We'll hold each other through the night.
My love is all you'll see.

Night night, whilst you are away, there
Where work demands your time.
And in our bed, I'll hold you close,
Until the end of time.

I can so relate to this poem of missing someone....the sadness can be felt...
