Watching you (revised)

by Janis krumins

At night,
when the sky looks down
with its darkened eyes
to enfold
the deeply burning outline of my breaths,
on Love's pathway
my soul soars to you,
flows through the gates of Ambrosial Dreams
to sit beside your bed
and softly,
with petals of the starlight
brush my Love unto your carving lips

...and
as I am quietly
watching you,
it starts to fall,
just keeps on falling
upon me,
oh, the Silver Rain...

as I am gently
touching your ivory cheeks,
the curls of your amethyst kisses
wrap me into a turbulence of enamored surrender.
Oh, I am feeling,
with the sweetest yearning,
the dashing tides of your heartbeats
as they splash
throughout the Eternal-Blue Tranquility
rejuvenating my existence with your benevolence.
Time disappears with joy
to gift Us
with the teardrops of Eternity

...and
as I am quietly
watching you,
it starts to fall,
just keeps on falling
upon me,
oh. the Silver Rain...

through the whispers of the Moonlight
spiraling smoke of the Fire-Roses
dancingly penetrating
the dimmed walls of yesterdays
letting my ink
to inhale your beauty,
and,
with vernal hopes,
through the dusk embraced sky
my soul returns.

but I am
wide-awake,
writing!
Oh, I am not sleeping!
Just laced within this
burning
love

...and
as I am quietly
watching you
it is falling
just keep on falling
upon me,
oh, the Silver Rain...
