Yes, I will leave you someday
I will leave you and become exposed
To the bountiful beauties the world has to offer
But I will never love them like I love you

Never will they have the same tantalizing effect
You have on my body, my mind, my heart
Never will the thought of their names
Be able to calm me after a bad dream as yours does
Never will they be able to look at me the way you do
And become my escape from the pressures of the real world
Never will they matter

With every inch of my entity I love you
And it both hurts me and delights me that we live under time
Time puts a limit on our relationship, however small that limit is
But it also builds upon our relationship
Cindy, I hold you right here in my heart
A place that use to be cold and void
Until you stepped into my life
Until you brought purpose into my life

Your benevolence is what propels me through each day
And your grace is what compels me to love
You are the one person that gives me hope
The one person that motivates me and gives me strength
The one person that I can say that I love without half meaning it
I'd like to think I'd have you forever

The heavens have smiled upon my life
