Into The Depths

by Kilman

I'm sitting naked falling fast,
with cigarette butts at my feet,
thinking about you and me,
and everything we can achieve,
the radio is blaring songs,
of past regrets and lost thoughts
with the twilight passing slowly by.

Memories of every touch,
Every kiss and almost "duck",
My mind is racing by the scars
we cut across each others throats,
piracy of more than love,
is lurking in my mind,
and the thoughts like blood come flowing out.

don't be lost just live out your role of the ever concerned friend,
you do so well without my consent just move on up or move on out.

Your words are haunting me out loud,
of the mistakes that i made,
with tattoos of fallen hearts,
marching forward like a parade,
every dial tone i hear,
reminds me our phone calls,
are formalities we'd love to skip.

don't be lost just live out your role of the ever concerned friend,
you do so well without my consent just move on up or move on out.

Last prophecies of hate,
and writing rights and wrongs alike,
looking up on bended knees,
filming all our lovers strife,
rolling past our burning bridge,
into fields we had been sent,
and this is where our song must end
