Of another heartbreak that you've added
To your chain of broken links

If only you would let me in
I would show you what love could be
And you would never have to cry again

But I hold back and give you your space
Watching the tears roll down your face
And I hear you ask why

Why did it happen again
Why couldn't it have been
The way love is supposed to be
Why can't I find the love I need

And I let you cry
Find the strength to try
