Love

I never knew what love meant
it was just a word to me
it took until I met you
for me to finally see
to see just what is meant,
to feel it as well
to learn its not a taste
nor is it a smell.
To me love is to call someone
no matter what time of day
to ask them how they are
or Why just OK?
Love is sitting at a game
freezing from the cold
to watch me for hours..
Being bright and bold.
I wish I could explain
to every one every where
Love is not just a word
but a feeling of care.
You don't need to be married
to love some one like I love you
you just have to have feelings
so very strong and true.
