As I lie in bed and write this
While I know you're fast asleep
I just wanted to leave something
For you to find when daybreak creeps

I hope you wake well rested
With a smile on your face
With any luck, you'll think of me
And your heart begin to race

I know that when the morning comes
You'll come to my mind first thing
Just as when I lay down my head
Thoughts of you make my heart sing

The twilight shining through my window
I shall be drifting off here soon
I wish you all the sweetest dreams
My dear, my sweet, sun to my moon
