Delicate
frail
beautiful
petals of silk
colored with blood
which was bled by those
who tried to with hold its beauty
thorns of sharp perfection
would needle into the skin
of those
who tried
leaving slits through the tough skin

a rose
the flower to show love
but why is this beauty of hurt
the flower to show
a power so strong
a power that only the heart can feel
is it because
like a rose
its delicate beauty
is worth any hurt...
