The biggest regret that I ever had,
To begin with,
Was wanting you.

To be within your warm embrace,
Clutching your hand,
Feeling your breath on my skin.

The biggest regret that I ever had,
Before this,
Was meeting you.

For if I had never stared into those eyes so deep,
Spent time with you so longingly,
I would never have felt this way.

The biggest regret I have,
Right now,
Is falling in love with you.

If it were my own choice I had to make,
And the option to make you mine was there,
Maybe I wouldn't, But I do.
