I Think of You

In quiet times I think of you
and say a silent prayer,
thanking God for sending me
someone like you to care.

In happy times I think of you
and gladness warms my heart,
remembering all the special times
in which you played a part.

In troubled times I think of you
and our strength leads me on,
knowing with you by my side
this, too, I'll get beyond.

In all the times I think of you
one thing becomes quite clear,
having you as my dearest friend
means more to me each year.
