Evergreen eyes of primordial spirit
haunt her present earthy tones,
evoke my heart with reminiscent potency.
Voiceless words of tender wisdom
echo the cherished songs of my heart.
I fight, I struggle, but it is solely
tainted intellect that denies you.
My ageless self embraces you,
irrevocably responds to you,
makes you a part of myself
(or accepts our eternal mirror).
And so I welcome you within,
savoring your ephemeral caress
like a delectable moment stolen
from the world’s battering chaos.
