Unthinkable Thoughts

Late at night when i should be sleeping
I lie awake in bed
While thoughts of you and me
creep into my head

Thoughts of your beautiful smile
your loving eyes and caring touch
thoughts of your giving heart
make me miss you so much

Thoughts of your kiss
fills my heart with desire
thoughts of your arms around me
give me the warmth of a fire

Thoughts of you beside me
as I'm lying here
only make me wish
that somehow you could be near

All these thoughts come to me
as i lie awake in bed
to live with these things
I'd rather be dead.
