But it won’t leave my head
Every time I try not to
I think of you instead

I can’t get it out
I keep thinking of you
Remembering the time
When the sky was blue

With you behind me
Holding on tight
Under a yellow helmet
The start of something right

I look back to see a smile
And those green eyes
I felt complete
In the summer without goodbyes
