At The End Of The Road
The road of broken hearts
paved the way to the tears,
imbedded inside of my soul
was the affection in fear.
At the end of every road
we find our destination,
Love, the latern of our abyss,
most treasured of all creation.
Upon the steps I've traveled,
often I've found myself outdone,
God has saw the worth I've lived for
and blessed me with "the one".
Blessings He left for me to retrieve,
in hopes that I would finally break free,
searching for my sense of belonging,
the love of my life rescued me.
