Tattered and torn
Stitched and stapled
bloody with scorn

Such strong feelings
A heart full of pain
Nothing to lose
The world to gain

No understanding
To any decree
I know you gaze
Right through me

Running in circles
Following orders
A life lined with
Ordinary borders

Working hard
Meaningless glory
Take the time
Make life's story

Don't be scared,
Weak, and cripple
Often still waters
need a ripple

Admit something
Cease denying
Just be honest
To stop my crying

Don't hold back
Become irate
Follow the heart
Let it escape
