You make me feel so special
And so free, like I can fly,
You promise until I want you to,
You won’t say “goodbye”.

You tell me that I’m beautiful,
And that you’ve been into me for years,
You hold my hand and rub my neck,
You comfort me through my tears.

Though you treat me wonderful,
Your sweet and kind and you care,
I can’t help but be afraid,
You won’t always be there.

So right now, it’s 2:30 a. m,
And I’m lying here in bed,
And as I start to doubt your love,
Your voice plays in my head.
