When I wish upon a star
You're by my side, no longer far.
In the deep and dark of night
When I look up, those stars shine bright.
I pick one out and hope that you
Somehow can see that same one too.
I see you standing alone in the cold
Wishing I was in your arms to hold.
You close your eyes, let your wish go
Hoping I, far away, will somehow know
You're standing there under that same dark sky,
While I sit alone and softly cry
And wish I could be there where you are,
Wishing upon that same bright star.
