Each Night Forever

Every night when we would sleep,
I bet you didnt know,
That i used to stay awake and watch,
Every movement you would show,
You body would lay still,
Your mind was set at rest,
And anything you ever thought of,
Was licenced as a test,
Sometimes you had bad dreams,
You told me when you awoke,
But i was sitting there watching,
When every moment it would slowly provoke,
And even though you were asleep,
If anything was wrong,you knew,
If i was cold,scared or restless,
Its always seemed you knew what to do,
No matter what time it was,
You always had time for me,
I could be anywhere on earth,
I could be lost,only to find you had the key,
And i dont want to forget you,
Or anything you had done,
Only me now to remember the memories,
I cant turn around and run,
Its hard to lose you for something,
that wasn't even fair,
I love you,I miss you,
And you better remember i care,
The key that you hold,
Now melts with you each night forever,
If there is no key,i have no heart,
Now i can only dream of us together.
