Already Met The End

My heart is beating so fast
Too fast for me to hear
I can’t seem to do anything
Whenever you are near

I remember it so perfectly
Me, lying in your arms
Never did I feel so good
So safe from all the harm

As you stroked my body
I thought that I would die
And I know you felt it too
For I saw it in your eyes

Your kiss was the sunshine
In the darkness of the night
And when you held my hand
You made everything alright

I walked away that night
And my love followed along
I do not know what happened
And why it all went wrong

But never had I felt that way
Or will I ever feel it again
You only feel true love once
And mine already met its end
