Where Did You Go?

I was dreaming about you,
when nightmares made me cry.
Haunted by the thought of you,
leaving me for another guy.

I woke up to find you gone,
panicked I was I cried out.
'Baby I love you, come back!'
The walls repeated as I shout.

My heart slumped into my gut,
as the butterflies inside arose.
I trembled from the cold,
as my heart had froze.

I looked at our picture,
the one we took at grad.
Then I remembered,
you're out with your dad.
