My friend is envied by many
For the gifts that she receives.
She gets them from her boyfriend
(He thinks theyre what she needs)
He showers her with presents
(That's his way of showing love)
She boasts about them to everyone
She just can't get enough.
He sends her expensive jewellery
Buys her drinks and pays for meals
Tells her she's worth every penny
They all think the love's unreal.
They all seem deadly jealous
Envious because she's loved
But I feel I'm the lucky one
Gifts just don't seem like much.
I have a guy gives me richer things
Showers me with love and affection
His version of money and presents
Is the more valuable, attention.
